CALCIUM STEARATE
DESCRIPTION
Calcium stearate is white or yellow powder, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol and ethyl ether. It can absorb water in the air, or decomposed into stearic acid and calcium salt when meeting strong acid. The product can be used as a non-toxic stabilizer in polyvinyl chloride processing.
