Introduction

CPE is chlorinated polyethylene polymers produced by chlorination of HDPE in an aqueous slurry.

The molecular chain of CPE with a certain chlorine content and low crystallinity is composed of a mixed chain segment with a high chlorine content and a low chlorine content. The compatibility of CPE and PVC only occurs at the interface between the CPE high chlorine chain segment and PVC, and the overall compatibility is limited and meets the state of certain miscibility.

On the other hand, under certain processing conditions, the CPE/PVC system can form a physical cross-networking or island-like structure.

Then CPE can improve the impact strength of PVC products.

CPE's saturated molecular structure enables it with good weather resistance.

CPE also has fire resistance, its thermal stability is better than that of PVC.

CPE is most suitable for substitution of Acrylic impact modifier (AlM) or blending with Acrylic impact modifier (AlM) with a certain percentage without adjusting the processing data and the formulation resulting in an optimum performance /cost solution.

Compared with other synthetic rubbers and plastics impact modifiers in the market, CPE has better comprehensive performances and higher cost-performance. Therefore, CPE has become more and more widely acknowledged by the customers in plastics and rubber fields.

CPE is divided into two series based on different final applications, lM series are designed for plastic impact modification , CM series are for rubber application.

CPE from Shandong Polymer Additives Co., Ltd

We strictly control the particle size and particle size distribution of HDPE raw materials to improve the chlorination uniformity between chlorinated polyethylene products.

We select HDPE with narrower molecular weight distribution for chlorination to provide hardness of PVC products; CPE production uses an initiator-free reaction, which improves the heat resistance and purity of the product.

We set up a reasonable chlorination process to make chlorine gas better penetrate into the interior of HDPE particles and eliminate unchlorinated HDPE.

We strictly control raw materials and production processes in order to provide high quality products.
